1. Communication Skills This is an essential part of any pharmacist’s job. Their communication skills must make them capable of dealing with the patients and doctors. 2. Science and Maths Skills It may sound obvious to many but not do all know that the pharmacists rely a lot on practical maths and science skills. From calculating the number of pills patient would need to other complex dosages, it is essential that a pharmacist has great numerical skills. Same goes with the science knowledge too. They must be well-versed with biology and chemistry.

3. Computer Literacy Nearly all of the dispensary systems are digital now and so are the patient databases, inventories, and consultation programs. Any pharmacist must be comfortable working with a computer and pick up things quite quickly. From taking orders to managing inventory, he must be capable of doing the least of the things.
